Players Needed: At least 1 adult for supervision, direction and assistance during the course of
craft project
Materials Needed:
Older, non-toxic crayons with the wrappers peeled off
Any type, texture, or size of paper
Steps:
- Pack a craft bag of art supplies (papers and peeled crayons) before heading
outdoors.
- Have child(ren) explore their natural environment (rocks, trees, leaves, etc.)
with their hands to gain an understanding of the natural textures available to
them.
- Have child(ren) place their paper as securely as possible on the natural objects
while rubbing the peeled crayons on top of the papers.
- Different colors and textures can be used to create fun works of art, or better
yet, gift wrap for that next birthday party!
