Number of Players: One to several children along with a supervising adult
Materials Needed: 1 Blindfold
Rules:
- Blindfold child and carefully lead them towards a grouping of trees.
- Instruct child to use their sensory skills of touch, smell, and sound to take in
as many details as possible while blindfolded. They should feel around the tree and try to mentally record number of branches,
leaf size, bark texture, root structure etc.
- Once child has taken in as many details as possible, lead them back to a spot
away from the tree and remove blindfold.
- Have the child recount the details of the tree and accompany them as try to go
back and find the exact tree they had met.
