Outdoor Logbook or pad of paper
Steps:
- Have the child find a dry place to lie flat on their back with an un-obscured
view of the sky. An old blanket or sleeping bag makes a great comfy place to lie.
- Have child search the sky for clouds that they can find shapes in. You can
help them with the first few by pointing out shapes, animals, objects that can
be seen in the clouds.
- Once the child spots something, have them sketch the object in their logbooks
or paper.
- You can encourage and challenge them by starting with a theme to follow
(example: animals, people, vehicles)
